"Biografi"
Pada mulanya bernama “THE ARMY RIOT” dan mengusung musik beraliran Crust Punk. Army Riot dibentuk pada tahun 2001 dengan beberapa kali pergantian personel yaitu pada formasi awal:
- 2001, Angger (voc), Jacko (voc), Eko (gitar), Rudi (drum)
- 2002, Angger (voc), Izal (voc), Sofan (Gitar), Eko (Bass), (rudi).
- 2003, Angger (gitar+voc),Eko (bass), Rudi (drum), Sofian
- 2004, Angger (gitar+Back. voc), Eko (bass), Sofian (voc. Growl), Bhagol (ex- Drummer Pistol Aer,drum)
- 2007, Angger (Voice of Hate, guitar), Franz (Ex-bassist Ari Anggara, Bass), Bhagol (Ex-Drummer PISTOL AER,TUMBAL,Drum).
- 2009 till now - Angger (Voice of Hate, Guitar), Franz (Scream Voice, Bass), Yudha (Lead Guitar), Bhagol (Drum)

Nama Death Authority digunakan pada saat pergantian personil yang kedua kalinya. Dan jenis musik Death Metal pun mulai dibawakan sejak pertengahan tahun 2003, dan pada saat bhagol menggantikan posisi Rudi pada Drum.

Nama Death Authority di ubah menjadi DEATH OF AUTHORITY,disebabkan oleh perubahan karakter musik dari Extreme Noise Death Metal menjadi Death Grind dan perubahan formasi pada akhir tahun 2006, and awal tahun 2007.


Lagu-lagu DEATH of AUTHORITY (D.O.A) sendiri bertemakan tentang problema dalam kehidupan dan kesengsaraan yang diderita manusia yang disebabkan oleh krisis moral, sosial dan kemanusiaan.
Musik kami sangat di pengaruhi oleh beberapa band dari dalam maupun Luar negri, seperti :
